An Amarnath Yatri died of cardiac arrest at Baltal base campin central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday. Officials said that a yatri, identified as Sundri Devi (62), wife of Ram Narayan Chohan of Dola-Ajmeer Rajasthan, died after she felt chest pain and collapsed today early morning. Shewas shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the case, said an official.
